The rigid Duotight 8mm tube is good for use when you don't want as flexible connection as the EVABarrier 4mmX8mm hose that is commonly used with Duotight fittings. However, you can always use this more ridged tube and the standard hose interchangeably. The only advantage to this product is it is stiff so it will not bend.
