Product Description
The patented Stainless Steel Intertap Faucet is a forward sealing faucet that works similar to the Perlick branded faucets. It features a modular, threaded spout allowing multiple options for attachments like a growler filler or a stout spout.
In normal rear-sealing faucets the entire faucet has to drain of beer, but in forward-sealing models the faucet retains beer inside so it doesn't have a chance to get sticky. This makes cleaning much easier and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer during your pour.
Most forward sealing faucets use a floating o-ring, which is just as sanitary but requires the o-ring to move inside the faucet body in order to seal correctly. Since o-rings and grommets wear out over time, this can become a problem as the faucet ages. Intertap faucets feature a sliding shuttle that guides the o-ring into the perfect position every time and prevents wear and tear.
