The Fizz Kit Complete kit for shank works in a lot of situation where you want to serve sparkling water, soda, mixed drinks and other carbonated beverages. Unlike many kits designed for beer this kit is specially developed for the needs of more highly carbonated and more acidic beverages. These features include:
- CMB X1 Flow Control Faucet - The CMB Flow control faucet is a true flow control with the restriction taking via a cone in the shank. This wide restriction range is perfect for carbonated water, soda, mixed drinks or any other beverage. The flow control means that you can slow down a highly carbonated soda, but speed up lower carbonated beverages like beer or mixed drinks. Soda served out of a conventional faucet will come out with too much force and likely become somewhat decarbonated during dispensing. This German made faucet was originally designed for soda served from a keg. You will find no better solution!
- Quick Carbonating Lid - This kit includes a lid with a separate gas post that feeds a carbonation stone. No more rocking a heavy keg while feeding it carbonation. Just add water or other beverage to the keg, attach gas hose and let the carbonation stone do it's job. Please note, beverages absorb CO2 better and quicker when cold.
- The carbonating stone is attached with to a swivel nut with an MFL connection. This allows you to quickly remove the stone for cleaning and boiling!
- CMB Premium Regulator - These regulators are a joint German/American product. The precision parts are made in Germany and the regulators are assembled in the USA. They feature a five year warranty and are maintainable. This is important because many regulators on the market these days are disposable. This is a commercial grade regulator.
- Premium Stainless Steel Shank and Faucet - The stainless steel shank and faucet will give you a lifetime of service with minimal maintenance.
- New, USA 5 Pound CO2 Cylinder - Our cylinders are purchased directly from a USA manufacture. We ship them empty in compliance with the law, but local places can fill them with confidence
- 5 Gallon, Stainless Steel Keg - We have been working with these kegs for over 20 years and we have sold tens of thousands of them. We clean them, repair them and pressure test them so you get one of the best kegs in the industry. These kegs are used, but still have a lot of life in them. If properly maintained they should last a lifetime.
- USA or Canadian Beer and Gas Hose - We use Bevlex, dual durometer hose. This hose has a hard inner core with a softer outer layer and it is NSF listed for safe beverage dispensing. The gas side is red and the liquid side is clear for easy identification
- CMB Disconnects - We use only CMB German Made and American assembled disconnects. These are NSF rated for safe, flawless gas and liquid connections on your keg.
