Customer Service
I recently left a review about a used keg I purchased and the problems I was having with it. They immediately reached out to me about resolving the issue and are going above and beyond to make me happy. I knew there was a reason I use Kegconnection.com

Used Keg purchase
I’ve purchased used kegs here before and been happy with my purchase. This time I’m not as thrilled about the keg I received. It came pressurized as advertised and I can handle the dents in it. Unfortunately it seems to be falling apart. I pulled the PRV and some plastic broke off around it. Then when I went to pull the posts off to make sure everything was clean some plastic o-rings from inside fell out. They’re pretty much deteriorating. Between those 2 things, a plastic gas intake tube, and a liquid dip tube that I can’t remove (maybe a thing with this keg but nothing I’ve experienced) I’m not sure I’ll be using this keg. Hopefully the next one I buy is better.

I know it's used but why so greasy?
I love these used kegs. I bought one two months ago and although not clean, it wasn't horrible and cleaned up fine. The keg I received a week ago was dirty as expected however had grease within the keg and keg posts. After a couple soaks and lots of brushing I was able to get most of it off. Buy new for a little more and don't have the worries

Not great luck here
I should have ponied up the extra $ and bought new. I need to replace the in/out posts as they would not come clean. The cost of the replacement (I bought this at $59.95) posts will nearly match the cost of buying new from the start. I think a new keg is better value for what that's worth.

Pretty horrible, or just my bad luck
Unlike some of the folks here, I got a bad one. Appeared to be sealed upon arrival, but smelled strongly of soda when opened. However, during cleaning found that the top would not seal at all, neither with the original flat ring nor the new rounded one. I'm not talking about a seal under pressure, just a basic closure when filled with liquid - it literally seeped out around the perimeter of the lid when tipping the keg slightly. Furthermore, and probably worst of all, the slightest liquid contact with the worn black rubber top (i.e. with the integrated handles) causes the rubber to dissolve, making a black mess all over my hands and on surfaces. You think I want my beer in this thing?! A waste of money, even with the $30 Black Friday special. I should call but I don't even want the hassle of sending this back...

GREAT VALUE, but Keg arrived dirty
Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE Kegconnection. It is clear whenever I order something from them that they make the extra effort where they don't necessarily need to: they wrap fittings, bubble wrap components to keep them from dinging/denting other items, and offer pre-assembled versions of products that quite frankly can be a pain in the a$$ to put together yourself. But, this particular item arrived dirty, unpressurized, and it didn't match the item image above. However, after removing stickers, soaking the posts/cleaning the diptube and exterior, this unit cleaned up nicely. By dirty, I mean the base was literally covered with dirt, the interior smelled of root beer, the diptube had soda residue on it, and the posts contained dried soda. Unpressurized: this was probably not kegconnection's fault, I'm sure the keg was knocked around during shipping. The keg does hold pressure so far. Doesn't match image: the one I received (and others, if reviews are any indication) did not come with an rubber upper surround, but instead with a single spot-welded handle. The downside to these kegs is the post threads are not secured in one place, so you have to finagle a crescent wrench inside the unit whenever you want to disassemble/reassemble either post to clean/sanitize because you have to hold the bottom part of the assembly in place. A minor inconvenience, but worth noting.

dirty
It was pretty banged up on the outside which I expected but didn't realize it was going to be that bad. That's livable though. When I opened the seal it was very strong of root beer smell. It doesn't seem like it was cleaned properly. The seals are no good and I'm going to have to do so serious cleaning to hope I can get the root beer smell/ taste out of the keg before I can use it not to mention replacement parts.
