"Converted" Ball Lock Keg -This keg was converted from a Pin Lock Keg into a Ball Lock Keg, but was also reconditioned!
These kegs have the following features:
- They are shorter than a normal Ball Lock Keg, this makes them easier to get into some kegerators.
- Feature a new lid with a pressure relief valve. This lid is normally $18.95 on its own!
- These kegs have new ball lock posts.
- These kegs are cleaned using Brew Clean a specially formulated cleaner for kegs and other homebrewing equipment.
- 22 inches tall (normal ball lock keg is 25" tall) x 9 inches wide
Please note that these kegs are cleaned on the inside and then pressure tested for leaks. When you open the keg you might see a very small amount of liquid on the bottom and detect a slightly sweet odor. This can happen when cleaning solution drips from dip tubes. This is not residual soda, the kegs were soaked about an hour in Brew Clean and thououghly rinsed.
These kegs are in good condition, but they are used. This means they can have dings, dents and other cosmetic damage. They are serviceable and are kegs we would personally put our homebrew or other liquids in! You can return kegs, but we do not pay for return shipping.

Good value for the money
Keg is a good value for the money. New posts, lid and extra rings. I bought two. I found if you clean the rubber handles very well with soap and water then seal it with "Protect All" the keg will not get your hand black from the old oxidized rubber. Flat rate shipping is a bonus. Mine were clean inside and out without any large dents.

Great keg for the first time kegger!
I purchased one of these kegs with a basic keg kit. Cosmetically, the keg looks a little rough and with the new lid and seals, works as advertised. It had some pressure on it when I got it so make sure you bleed it off. A brand new set of seals comes with it. Like it so much I ordered two more! Can't beat the price and flat rate shipping!!

Great
Took my first step into kegging with this equipment. I was pleased with the quality, used yes but not destroyed. They both showed up holding pressure which I thought was a great proof they were good to go. I've filled one and it works great.

Converted keg works like new
This converted used keg works like new. Functions as well as my new ones at half the price. Got a set of o-rings with the purchase. Great deal.

That being said My first purchase was a basic keg kit with a modified ball lock corny keg also with the event control faucet and couldn't be happier as with this last keg thank's Kegconnection

Looks like a working keg
Looks like a working keg. Syrup or something on both kegs, will have to be thoroughly cleaned. Rubber/plastic top and bottom are both heavily cracked. Not really cracked but you know how old hard rubber gets those spider lines running all which way.
